Circumstances of the accident
Our client was travelling on the inside lane when the third party manoeuvred across from the middle lane into our client’s lane, colliding with the driver’s side of our client’s vehicle.
How we helped our client
We intimated the claim to the third-party insurers. They responded and confirmed that liability was admitted.
Settlement
Our client suffered soft tissue injuries to her neck and her right thigh, which exacerbated a pre-existing pain condition. With physiotherapy treatment her injuries were prognosed to resolve after twelve months.
We instructed a medical report to determine the extent of her injuries and prognosis for the future. Unfortunately, our client suffered from significant anxiety following the accident and she was recommended a course of counselling.
We arranged for physiotherapy to be provided by the third-party insurers to help resolve her physical symptoms, and highlighted that future counselling and further physiotherapy was required.
Our client an award of £10,000 for her injuries and to cover future treatment.
